Right near Slate Run, Pine Creek was a chocolaty muddy brown. Heading south, they found a beautiful spot just downstream of Jersey Mills and started fishing there.
But whatever turned Pine Creek muddy upstream finally worked its way down. After about 20 minutes, the water level began to rise and turn muddy. And it was still that way 2 days later when they went back to check it out.
Instead, they came back to fish our wonderful Kettle Creek where, as usual, they were successful catching rainbows and browns.
